Our story

Rama.

From Ram Lal Chugh.

A name that began with one man.
A business they built together.

Alongside
the day’s work.

Rama Bags takes its name from Ram Lal Chugh. He started small, making cycle bags and other useful items alongside his regular work.

He took what he made out on his bicycle to sell.

A shared effort

The work continued.
Together.

When the day was over, there was still work to do. His wife worked beside him, operating the sewing machine while he stitched cycle bags and seat covers.

Her contribution was part of the business from those early days. They worked side by side and gradually built it together.

From a bicycle
to a shop.

In time, selling from a bicycle gave way to a shop. The change came gradually, as the business they had built together grew.

Rama Bags today

A familiar name
in Fazilka.

The shop grew, and so did its selection. Over time, generations of customers in Fazilka came to know the name Rama Bags.

Today, the store at Farsh Number 14 brings together bags, luggage and accessories. The name still carries the story of Ram Lal Chugh and the business he and his wife built together.
